Artist Registry

PlacerArts has launched two new artist registries for Placer County artists.

Regional Artist Registry

The regional Artist Registry provides a listing of visual and performing artists, arts venues and organizations, segmented by medium or type of performance art. The Artist Registry is designed to connect patrons, businesses and event coordinators directly with artists for potential exhibitions and sales, performances and special events. It also provides links to services such as classes, workshops and community events. Artists may have an unlimited number of profiles, i.e. as a visual artist, a performing artist and a workshop presenter. PlacerArts members have an additional benefit: a free live link to your own website.

Public Art Registry

This registry is for artists who are qualified to create public art. The registry is a public information source for developers and private companies, designed to connect artists with potential customers who want to include art in their projects.

Once artists have submitted their profile, it will be reviewed by PlacerArts and will then be activated for inclusion in the Public Art Registry.

PlacerArts is working with the City of Roseville Planning Department and other Placer County public and private agencies to distribute information about the registry to interested parties.

The profiles of all artists who complete the Public Art Registry section are automatically entered in the Regional Arts Registry, so it is not necessary to submit separate applications.
