The Arts Building

The Arts Building is a ten thousand square foot arts center located at 808 Lincoln Way in downtown Auburn.

The Arts Building houses the offices of PlacerArts and the Auburn Symphony, seven artists-in-residence, a teaching space, Metropolitan Arts Partnership's Galley of Myth, Stories and Living Traditions, and the ClayArts studio and classroom.

The synergistic space includes The Arts Building Gallery, and is a popular venue for cultural, musical and other events, including PlacerArts' Jazz at 808 and the Auburn Art Walk.

About samples of your work

You are urged to pay special attention to the quality of the work samples you submit. These must demonstrate your artistry and should reflect the specific discipline or disciplines you plan to work in. Be sure to include samples of recent work. Submit up to 10 images of your work.

We strongly recommend that applicants create a profile on PlacerArts' online artist registry.
