The Arts Council of Placer County is governed by a Board of Directors, which meets regularly on the third Wednesday of each month via Zoom.

All meetings are open to the public. Everyone is welcome to attend and may share information during public comment. If you would like to request to be placed on the agenda, please contact ACPC Managing Director, Jenny.

The Arts Council of Placer County is excited to welcome Jenny Darlington-Person as our new Executive Director, effective December 6, 2024.

The Arts Council of Placer County is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Executive Director to lead and manage the organization.
This individual will be responsible for advancing the mission and vision of ACPC through strategic leadership, program development, fundraising, and community engagement.
The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors to develop and implement long-term goals and initiatives while maintaining the day-to-day operations of the organization. Interested applicants please reach out to the ACPC Board Chair. Compensation: $35/hour up to 30 hours/week

Executive Director
Jenny brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and fundraising, having previously increased foundation and government grant funding by nearly 400% and growing business sponsorships and individual giving by 17% and 25%, respectively. Read More

Twiana Armstrong,
Board Chair
Twiana Armstrong – a transplanted Texan who moved her roots to CA in 1993! She is semi-retired after a 31 year career in the corporate world, and her appreciation for giving back to the community keeps her busy. Read More

Sierra Bamsey,
Vice Chair
Sierra has been involved in the Placer County arts scene all her life. After completing her Bachelors in Musical Theatre from the Point Park Conservatory, and a short career in performing arts on the east coast, she recently returned to Roseville. Read More

Tiffany Walker,
Secretary
Tiffany is motivated by living a life of exploration. Raised in the foothills of Placer County, she spent most of her childhood outdoors at creative play, and always seeking the next adventure. Read More

Laura Horrocks,
Interim Treasurer
Laura spends her days buried in numbers and raising her two boys. As Director of Finance, she appreciates the need for creativity and artistic expression to balance the logic found within the numbers. She appreciates that art is an integral expression and a beautiful way to celebrate life. As a long-time supporter of the arts, she is excited to help make the arts accessible to everyone in Placer County.

Unity Lewis,
Diversity Director
Unity Lewis began making music, performing, drawing, painting and sculpting as early as the age of three. He started seriously recording music and founded his first rap group, in Los Angeles when he was 13. Read More
