The Arts Council of Placer County Board of Directors meets on the third Wednesday of every other month via Zoom. Committees meet during alternate months.

Meetings take place the Third Wednesday of every other month.
The Arts Council of Placer County is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Executive Director to lead and manage the organization.
This individual will be responsible for advancing the mission and vision of ACPC through strategic leadership, program development, fundraising, and community engagement.
The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors to develop and implement long-term goals and initiatives while maintaining the day-to-day operations of the organization. Interested applicants please reach out to the ACPC Board Chair. Compensation: $35/hour up to 30 hours/week

Jenny Darlington-Person,
Executive Director
Jenny brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and fundraising, having previously increased foundation and government grant funding by nearly 400% and growing business sponsorships and individual giving by 17% and 25%, respectively.
Sierra Bamsey,
Chairperson
Sierra has been involved in the Placer County arts scene all her life. After completing her Bachelors in Musical Theatre from the Point Park Conservatory, and a short career in performing arts on the east coast, she recently returned to Roseville.
J. Ross Parrelli,
Vice Chair
J Ross Parrelli is a California-born Hip Hop artist, educator, and founder of the nonprofit Kidzapalooza, and Beats Lyrics Leaders, which mentors youth through music and leadership development.
Tiffany Walker,
Secretary
Tiffany is motivated by living a life of exploration. Raised in the foothills of Placer County, she spent most of her childhood outdoors at creative play, and always seeking the next adventure.
Laura Horrocks,
Treasurer
Laura spends her days buried in numbers and raising her two boys. As Director of Finance, she appreciates the need for creativity and artistic expression to balance the logic found within the numbers. She appreciates that art is an integral expression and a beautiful way to celebrate life. As a long-time supporter of the arts, she is excited to help make the arts accessible to everyone in Placer County.
Delgreta Brown,
Poetry Out Loud Coordinator
Delgreta Brown has served as a Board Member with the Arts Council of Placer County for three years. Currently she serves as Poetry Out Loud Coordinator.
Julia Boorinakis Harper Barbeau,
Member
Julia Boorinakis Harper Barbeau is a multi-media designer, artist, musician, and fourth generation farmer. An Auburn native, Julia grew up on her family’s 100-year old pear farm, the Boorinakis Harper Ranch.
Antonio Benitez-Baldasari,
Member
Antonio Benitez-Baldasari is a seasoned multi-instrumentalist, music educator, and manager at the Music Institute of Roseville. He began violin studies at just 2 years old and has since performed across Spain, Japan, Thailand, and Korea, studying at elite institutions like the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música “Victoria Eugenia” in Granada and the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
Unity Lewis
Unity Lewis began making music, performing, drawing, painting and sculpting as early as the age of three. He started seriously recording music and founded his first rap group, in Los Angeles when he was 13.
