The Arts Council of Placer County (ACPC) is looking for artists, organizations, and community groups that want to partner with us. The opportunity includes funding for projects that develop and implement impactful arts programs in Placer County. Deadline to Apply: May 1, 2025

2025 Partnership Projects
ACPC is excited to announce a new partnership program for artists, organizations, and community groups to develop and implement impactful arts programs in Placer County. With support from the California Arts Council and Athens Energy, we are seeking 1 to 3 projects that use the arts to inspire, uplift, and create meaningful change in our community. SUBMIT A PROPOSAL
We look forward to your inspiring ideas to harness the power of the arts and make a lasting impact in Placer County! Finalists will be invited to an interview with the Executive Director and ACPC staff.


Funding Available: Up to $5,000 per project
Deadline to Apply: May 1, 2025
Project Completion Deadline: December 31, 2025
Final Report Due By: January 15, 2026

🎨 Innovation in Arts & Culture –
Creative approaches that introduce new ideas, technologies, or methods to engage and inspire.
🤝 Inclusivity in the Arts for Underserved Communities –
Expanding access to the arts for all.
🎭 Children’s Art Programs –
Providing enriching arts education outside of school.
🎖️ Engaging Veterans –
Using art to foster connection, healing, and purpose among veterans.
📚Professional & Business Development –
Supporting artists with training, resources, and mentorship for career growth.
💙 Mental Health Support Through Artistic Expression –
Programs that use creativity as a tool for well-being.
♿ Inclusivity in the Arts for Differently Abled Communities –
Ensuring accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
What ACPC will contribute to this partnership:
1. Promotional & Marketing Support
Feature funded projects on ACPC’s website, newsletters, and social media channels.
Provide co-branded materials to highlight ACPC’s involvement and the project’s impact.
Offer networking opportunities through ACPC-hosted events or artist spotlights.
2. Technical & Administrative Support
Offer mentorship or consultation on project planning, budgeting, or reporting.
Assist with compliance by providing reporting templates or guidance on measuring impact.
3. Community Engagement & Outreach
Connect applicants with local artists, educators, or arts organizations to expand their project’s reach.
Facilitate collaborations between multiple grant recipients to create larger, community-wide initiatives.
Promote public participation through ACPC’s community networks.
4. Professional Development & Capacity Building
Provide access to workshops on marketing, fundraising, or nonprofit management.
Offer training on developing sustainable arts programming beyond the project period.
5. Funding. Up to $5,000
Eligibility
✔️ Applicants must reside or operate within Placer County.
✔️ Open to individuals, organizations, and collectives with experience in arts programming, the arts in community engagement, or health services and the arts.
✔️ Must be able to track and report on program progress and outcomes.
✔️ Must be interested in partnering with ACPC

SELECTION PROCESS
Projects will be evaluated based on creativity, feasibility, impact, and alignment with ACPC’s mission to enrich Placer County through arts and culture. Finalists may be invited for an interview.
