BLUE LINE ARTS
Since 1966, Blue Line Arts has been vital for supporting the arts community in Roseville.

Originally founded as Roseville Community Projects, Inc. in Old Town Roseville and later as Roseville Arts Center at the Haman House, the organization moved to its current state-of-the-art gallery on Vernon Street in downtown Roseville in 2008. Blue Line Arts offers exhibition space for both established and emerging artists and provides education opportunities for children and adults throughout Placer County, either free or at the lowest possible cost.
Dedicated to celebrating the arts and its positive impact on the region’s creative economy, Blue Line Arts offers professional development opportunities for artists and maintains an admission-free gallery space accessible to all. One of its signature events, the Lottery for Arts, will hold its 17th annual event on March 15, with tickets available to the public starting February 18th. This event allows art enthusiasts to acquire original works generously donated by professional and emerging artists, supporting free youth art education programming like Tour Talk Create. At the event, five chances to bid will be auctioned off initially, followed by a lottery where ticket holders select artworks from the gallery walls as names are called at random. Sponsorship opportunities are available for community-minded businesses. For more details, visit bluelinearts.org/the-lottery-for-the-arts.

Tour Talk & Create, is a flagship educational program at Blue Line Arts! Student in grades K-12 from underserved schools, take a field trip to the gallery for a tour using Visual Thinking Strategies to stimulate discussion. Participants then engage in art projects led by professional teaching artists. In 2024, they served over 1,900 students and reimbursed the bus expenses for 73 visits to ensure equitable access. Will you help them reach their goal of serving 2,500 students in 2025? For details on the Tour Talk & Create program, visit bluelinearts.org/tour-talk/create.
