Yuletide Tapestry: Songs of the Season

Join us for another heartwarming Colla Voce Chamber Singers’ holiday concert series, Yuletide Tapestry: Songs of the Season. The evening begins with meditative, transformative works that invite reflection and serenity, including Sacred Heart by Ola Gjeilo, See Amid the Winter’s Snow arranged by Dan Forrest, and The Holly and the Ivy arranged by Shawn Kirchner—each beautifully enhanced by a live string quartet.

As the concert unfolds, the music transitions from introspective and ethereal to light and joyful, weaving together a rich array of holiday sounds. From the familiar sparkle of Leontovych’s Carol of the Bells to Paul Johnson’s playful twist on We Wish You a Merry Christmas and the effervescent rhythms of PinkZebra’s A Very Merry Christmas, this program offers something for everyone.

Let Colla Voce surround you with a tapestry of joyous, shimmering music that celebrates the spirit of the season—uplifting, heartwarming, and filled with festive cheer.

Experience the magic of the holiday season with Lake Tahoe Dance Collective’s beloved Tahoe Nutcracker!

Set in the historic ballroom of the Tahoe Tavern on Christmas Eve one hundred years ago, this local favorite blends Tahoe’s rich history with timeless holiday tradition. This year’s performances feature Indiana Woodward, one of the greatest living dancers of our time and a principal with New York City Ballet, alongside Lawrence Rines Munro of Boston Ballet as her Cavalier.

Returning guest artists Daniel Baudendistel and Calvin Thomas join LTDC’s Artistic Director Christin Hanna and longtime collaborator Dan Morrison on stage, alongside the talented student dancers of the Lake Tahoe Dance Collective.

In order to sustain the high level of artistry our audiences have come to expect, LTDC is raising ticket prices for the first time in 18 years, with seats starting at $30. Performances now feature assigned seating, and a special section of “Pay What You Can” tickets ensures this cherished holiday tradition remains accessible to everyone.

✨ Don’t miss this heartwarming production that brings together world-class dancers, local students, and the spirit of the Tahoe community.
