Hi! I’m Claudia Savage, an artist living in Loomis, California. I am a mother of two and work by day as a landscape architect. Painting is my creative outlet.

I’m open for commissions and would love to discuss your ideas to create a unique piece.

Most of my work is focused on California, but I also love trying to capture landscapes of places I have traveled. I am inspired to paint by color and patterns in both the urban and natural landscape. I often look at a landscape and divide it into simplified blocks of colors in my mind.

I love exploring color in watercolor, acrylic and oils. Each medium has a unique way of expressing a landscape. I hope my paintings evoke memories of places you have traveled and loved. I delight in capturing the light and textures of the landscape and how they can transport you back in time.
