Where does my art come from? A collection of memories and experiences and an attraction to certain colors or textures, an old piece of rusted tin or plant forms. I start with a splash of paint or collage material and have a great adventure seeing where it takes me. I apply and sometimes remove my mediums. I use acrylic, printmaking, encaustic and cold wax.
My art has evolved from years of studying with inspirational teachers at Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles and several northern California colleges and workshops. My work is in collections throughout the United States and also in Finland, India and Fance.
